Problem
As a smart home appliances brand, SMARTA needed to communicate the value of its products in a way that was simple, engaging, and visually clear for a broad audience. The main challenges included: • Explaining smart home technology and device functions in an easy-to-understand format • Creating consistent visual storytelling across multiple product-focused videos • Turning technical product features into engaging animated narratives
Contributions
I developed a creative direction centered on clear visual storytelling and friendly illustrated environments, allowing the technology to be explained through relatable everyday situations. Key contributions included: • Creative Direction: Defined the storytelling approach and overall visual direction for the video series, ensuring a cohesive narrative across all animations. • Assets and Motion Design: created illustrated elements and animated the videos to transform the illustrated concepts into dynamic explainer content that highlights product functionality and benefits.
